Plot
In a future earth where global warming has flooded New York, overpopulation has required a lottery which determines whether or not people could have children.
In the place of children, people can purchase robotic babies, which one of the story’s main characters,
Monica, has done. The child-like robot, named David, faces a crisis as it wonders if its "mother" really
loves it.
